Joe Perrott was an English teacher at William Penn Charter School for more than 40 years, as well as a lacrosse coach. One of his former students was Adam Goldberg, who went on to name a character after Perrott in his TV show, “The Goldbergs.” A U.S. Air Force veteran, Perrott was also a published novelist.
