Joseph “Aldo” Bazzarelli was a native of Italy who came to the U.S. in 1968. He co-founded Bazzarelli Restaurant in 1970, which is still operating today. The restaurant was destroyed by Superstorm Sandy, but Bazzarelli and family rebuilt and quickly reopened.
