Karen Kelly was a designer of windows and interiors for specialty stores and retailers, including Macy’s. She later worked as a makeup artist for Sephora, and she attended dental school to become a periodontal assistant. Two years before her death, Kelly suffered a brain aneurysm, which she had rehabilitated from.
