Mark Riordan, age 69, died April 24 in Tacoma from complications of COVID-19. Mr. Riordan, who had Down syndrome, will be fondly remembered by his family and caregivers for his loving and fun spirit. He adored Elvis Presley, Christmas, baseball cards, ferry rides and pizza. Unable to tell time, he always wore a watch and loved to get dressed up in a shirt and tie. Mr. Riordan enjoyed working and held three jobs in his life, most recently at a commercial laundry in Tacoma.
