Michael Gary Adkins was 70 years old when he passed away on Saturday, April 11, due to complications from COVID-19 and primary amyloidosis… Gary was a loving husband and father, and a wonderful “Papa” to his four grandsons and two granddaughters. Even during difficult times, he was always quick to make a joke–like the time he sang “Piece of My Heart” shortly before doctors took a biopsy of his heart. He was a horrible singer who was always first up for karaoke, he told ridiculous “dad” jokes, and he loved the Beatles.
