Michael Shubak was born with Down syndrome and autism. He was beloved by his family, who found him the right school to attend and cared for him throughout his life. Shubak worked at a Goodwill store and was proud to ride the bus to work by himself. He loved rollercoasters, puzzles, swimming, and painting.
