Richard Coppola was an employee of the U.S. Postal Service. He was deaf and very active in the local deaf community, including performing as an Elvis impersonator. He loved Philadelphia sports teams and the Green Bay Packers – and he was so invested in sports that he had four TVs in his living room, which he’d watch simultaneously, each tuned to a different game.
