Roger Lehne served as a Navy medic during World War II before becoming a teacher. He spent most of his teaching career in Mahnomen, Minnesota, where he married fellow teacher Teresa London, “the love of his life.” Together for over six decades, the couple moved to Fargo, North Dakota a few years ago. When Roger and Teresa became ill with coronavirus, they were sent to different hospitals. Roger died March 26, 2020, on his 93rd birthday. Unable to have visitors due to COVID-19 restrictions, Teresa received the news via video chat.
