Sandy Kearney was a guidance counselor at Eureka High School. She had worked for the district since the 1980s and became a counselor in 1993. She was also a mother of four.

“Thank you so much for helping me get to the point where Im at right now in my life. Encouraging me to graduate early. Making me a gold standard student. Showing me methods to calm down when Im pissed off. Helping me get through my depression. Or just being somebody I can come talk to whenever I need you. I am so thankful I moved to this school beginning of freshman year and you have helped me the past 4 years with everything I had going on in my life. Thank you for everything you have done for me and all the other students you have helped. Ill be thinking of you and your family always! Rest easy Mrs.Kerney”
