Sister Bernadette Kelter was a nun with the School Sisters of St. Francis in Greenfield, Wisconsin for 72 years. She served as a teacher and a home health aide.
Sister Bernadette is one of at least six nuns from her convent who have died of the coronavirus. The other sisters include Mary Regine Collins, Annelda Holtkamp, Mary Francele Sherburne, Josephine Seier, and Marie June Skender.
