To the entire Salyers family I send you my love prayers, condolences upon the homegoing of dear Paul.He left quite a legacy to his family, friends, and the church body at EDBC. He has been missed since being so sick -and Jean as well. Prayers for your healing and strength,Jean. He was a good man-one who knew His Bible and shared it so well with others so they would hear, know and accept the good news re: eternal life with Jesus forever, Amen !. I'm sure he will receive his just reward as he is in heaven--Lord saying,"well done thy good and faithful servant" God bless all of you now and always !

To Jean, Sue, Pat and family: Carol & I are out of town but we saw the obituary online and were saddened by the news of Paul's passing. Paul was always kind and helpful to us. We thought highly of him. As a young pastor of only 19-21 years, Paul was loving and patient with me. My dad loved visitng with him. While you all will miss him, we all are comforted with the hope of our heavenly home made possible through Jesus Christ our Lord and by the presence of the Holy Comforter in our hearts. Surely we will see him again! If we were there we would express our thoughts to you all in person. You will be in our thoughts and prayers at this time, Jim & Carol Richardson.

Paul has been a member of East Dayton Baptist Church for as long as I can remember. He was a great Sunday School teacher, friend and encourager. He visited me, loaned me tapes, called and sent encouraging poems while I have been sick. He usually had a joke to tell. I love him and will miss him. God's blessing to his family.
