Verna Olga Kinckiner

VERNA OLGA KINCKINER, 89, OF POTTSTOWN Verna Olga (Christman) Kinckiner, 89, of Pottstown, PA, died on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Pottstown. She was the wife of Edgar L. Kinckiner, who died in 2011. Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Jenny (Fox) Christman. She was a graduate of Pottstown High School. Verna worked for various retail clothing stores in Pottstown. In earlier years, she worked as an operator for Bell Telephone. Mrs. Kinckiner was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Pottstown. She enjoyed playing bingo and working on word searches. Survivors include one son, Gary Kinckiner and his wife, Nancy of Pottstown; one daughter, Debra, wife of Bob Detwiler of Pottstown; five grandchildren, Timothy Detwiler, Katie DeNicco, Angel Addis, Ian Keyser and John David Keyser, and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service and interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ, 11 S.
