GLORIA SMITH

Gloria F. (Spoklie) Smith Born January 30, 1937 in Minot, ND and peacefully passed away on May 23, 2013 in Tacoma, WA. She graduated from PLU and taught for the Clover Park school district from 1965 until retirement in 1997. Gloria had many hobbies and interests including skiing, yachting and traveling the world. She is preceded in death by husband Darrell, sister Joyce Johnson and brother Sheldon 'Bucky' Spoklie. She is dearly missed by her many relatives and friends from as far away as Norway. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Darrell and Gloria Smith Memorial Art Scholarship, Clover Park School District, attention: Financial Services, 10903 Gravely Lake Drive Lakewood WA 98499. A memorial service to be held Saturday June 8th, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Fir Lane Memorial Park and Funeral Home, graveside service to follow.
