Rogelio A. Rodriguez Jr.

Mr. Rogelio A. Rodriguez, Jr., 74, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 14, 2023, surrounded by his family by his side. Rogelio was born in Laredo, Texas on July 5, 1949, the son of Rogelio A. and Josefina Rodriguez. He was educated in Laredo public schools, attended Texas A&M Kingsville University, earning a Bachelor's in Business Administration and furthered his education at Laredo State University (now TAMIU), where he earned in Master's in Business Administration. He was an educator at Laredo College, as well as worked his own business, R. Rodriguez/Managing Edge. He will be forever missed and loved.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Rogelio A. and Josefina Rodriguez; brother: Rolando Rodriguez, Pets: Sally, Spike, and Mittens.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his spouse: Aurora Rodriguez; children: Gabriela Elizabeth Rodriguez, Alexa Denise Rodriguez, Rogelio Andres Rodriguez III, and Angela Michelle Rodriguez; grandchildren: Clarissa Isabel Rodriguez; Pets: Chiqui, Jenny, Spotify, Moo-Moo, Peaches, Fluffy, and Bibi; siblings: Rina Ochoa (Alberto), Rene Rodriguez (Leticia), Rosina Oliva (Jerry), numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be held at 7 pm.

Funeral procession will depart the chapel on Friday, October 20, 2023 to St. John Neumann Catholic Church, where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at a time pending.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
