John Anthony Obituary
Born in Phoenix, Ariz., Mr. Anthony lived in Pompton Lakes in 40 years before moving to Wayne in 2013. He was a computer programmer at Bergen Community College in Paramus. Also, he was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1959 to 1963 and then in the Reserves from 1963 to 1968.
Arrangements are by the Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale.
Mr. Anthony is survived by his daughter, Doreen, of Long Valley; his companion, Janet Azzinaro, of Wayne; and his honorary children, Maureen and Bill Finnigan of Milford, Pa.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Kathryn Janke.

I worked with John at Bergen Community College. I was a student at the time doing college work study in the computer center. John was very helpful to me with my studies. It's been a long time since graduation but I am still in IT. John was a pleasure to work with. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to his family.
