My heart ached when I read the passing of this dear woman. My wonderful memories of Betty and Bob go back to about 1973 when I moved back home to Sacramento from San Francisco. I went to the Big Brothers of Sacramento and met Betty. After telling her San Francisco had "Big Sisters", Betty put the wheels in motion. I and Susie Ross-Kelley were the first two Big Sisters in Sacramento. I remember Betty telling us how important our example would be. Betty was an amazing woman who inspired, loved and taught every day of her life. My sincerest sympathy to Bob and her sons, and my heartfelt gratitude for every day I knew this wonderful woman. About two years ago I called to "thank you" for her teachings...she laughed that wonderful loving laugh, as if she had her arms around me. Rest now dear friend.

I am so sad to hear of Bettys passing. As a child, growing up with Betty and her boys, Betty was like a gift. I could not wait to see her, be around her.....she was always planning an adventure for every kid in the neighborhood....She was the coolist mom. I was always so inspired by her nudges to learn, explore, try something new. She was so knowledgeable and involved with life. When we lost our mother....Betty was a great comfort to us. She would help my sister and I with our difficult ponies as she was an accomplished equestrian. She held neighborhood dog training classes with her Wonder Dog Rex. She had movie nights that were so interesting and educational that we just couldnt wait for the next one. I will miss Betty so much. She has inspired me and left me with many happy memories.

We are sorry to hear of Betty's death. While living and working in Sacramento with the J.C, Penney Co., we became one of her clients in legal estate planning. We appreciated her wonderful personality, laugh, honesty, and no nonsense approach to her job. We enlisted her to do nation wide J.C. Penney Retirement Seminars in 1993 on the Legal Estate Planning segment. She loved it and traveled with us to do seminars. She met many potential clients for her business. She was a joy to work with and helped several attendees with their legal estate planning. Betty, was a wonderful gracious lady and everyone loved her. Our prayers and best wishes go out to her family and friends in her passing. We know how much she will be missed.

My condolences to your family. Betty was one of my heroes. Many years ago, I attended one of her trust workshops after my divorce. She set up a trust/will document for me that has kept me secure and safe. I will always remember her empathy and professionalism. She was a one-of-a-kind woman.
