Rudy was a friend of the family that you could always count on. When my kids were young we would always visited at Christmas. Rudy and Helen had spent endless hours baking Balish and Christmas cookies. He would always serve us a large plateful. He would send us home with the same and a dozen new jokes. He has earned his place in Gods Kingdom!

I will miss my uncle and always remember the trips to Ohio with my parents, brothers, and sisters to visit Aunt Helen & Uncle Rudy. Always a party at their house with food & jokes a plenty! Love and thoughts to my cousins Rudy Jo, Darlene, Becky and their Families.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Kessler. I worked at a store for 10 years that he came to often. He always had a smile and a joke for all of us. He had a great sense of humor and seemed to love life. He will be missed.

I can not think of anyone that loved life and shared his love of life with everyone he met, more than Rudy Kessler. His commitment to God, Country and family were visible in all he did. Rudy always had a new funny, clean joke to tell and no matter what was happening in his life he would find the time to caringly ask about you and your family. Rudy and Helen were the best friends Dorothy and Ernie Nicka could have in life. I met Rudy thru my in-laws and was privileged to spend many hours in his home. My children will tell you he made the best Christmas cookies and Balish, ever. We always looked forward to that plate he had "just for them".
Helen and family, Rudy was a remarkable man. Rudy will truly be missed.
God Bless all of you during this sad time.

Rudy was a family friend for 50 years. He always stopped by the house on his bike if someone was out front...and he always had that funny grin on his face. I never met a true war hero before I knew him. He and his bicycle going around the block will be missed. He was one of the good ones.

Prayers to Helen and family. We lived across the street from Rudy and Helen for years. My kids and niece loved to go over to their house. Rudy and Helen always welcomed them.

I lived across the street from the Kessler's. He was always such a great, sweet, nice man. I hope he's on his bike right about now waving to folks :)

Rudy,
It was a real pleasure and honor to have you as part of "our family". I remember all of the great times we had as kids growing up around you. I am glad that you shared you memories of WW2 with me and allowed me to write them in a short biography for you.
You were and will remain a real hero to me,
Say hello to my Uncle Ed and my grandmother Helen for me.
