James Russell Obituary

RUSSELL, James J. "Jim" 81, of St. Petersburg, peacefully went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at home. Born in Pamona, KS, he came here in 1959. He was a retired U.S. Army veteran and retired from Florida Power after 32 years of service. He was an active member of Northside Baptist Church, the Florida Power Corp. Retirees Assoc. and the Pinellas Seminole Boosters. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorma Lee; sister, Goldie (Darrell) Norris, Osage City, KS and a large extended family. A memorial service will be held at 11:45 am on Thursday, Dec. 2nd at Northside Baptist Church, 6000 38th Ave. N., St. Petersburg, 33710. Donations to Northside Baptist Church in lieu of flowers. Jim was a man I have admired since my early days as a warehouseman for FPC all the way thru our Seminole breakfast gatherings,
