I have so many great memories of Ross, to many to write down the cheeky laugh and all those jokes I will treasure forever. RIP Ross Lots of love Sandra Ferguson

One of the great memories I have of Ross, is at his wedding to my sister, Megan, when he danced the night away in his chair at the 'after match' function! He never let his physical limitations limit him, and it was easy to forget that he was even in a wheelchair at times. His athletic prowess and contribution to the Paralympic movement, are undoubtably great achievements, but I know he would agree that his two greatest achievements are his two beautiful, kind and talented daughters, Rebekah and Brydie. They, and their children, were his pride and joy and I know he will be in their hearts, and the hearts of their half-siblings Kirsten and Ashleigh, forever. Keep dancing Ross. Love Jaynie, Craig, Ian and Kirsty xxx

I'll miss his smile.
My favourite memory is of him powering away, at an Intersecondary school athletic meeting at Kings College in 1964. His athletic running style was the same as Liddell of Chariots of Fire - upright trunk, head tilted back and boy, could he run. Wonderful !
My prayers are with the family at this time.
