I've only known Dave for a few years, but I'd known of him for most of my life, through what my mum would say and his school photo, on her dresser as long as I can remember. I'm honoured to have been able to spend time with him and his family in New Zealand, putting a face to the name I'd known of for so many years, and am so glad he got to return to England and reconnect with the family there, which I knew meant so much to everyone xxx

Dave coming to visit with his family was something that is a special memory and something I will think about fondly. Memories at the beach in Cornwall with him won't be forgotten. He was my eldest cousin on this side of the family and I loved being welcomed into his life. You left us too soon David xxx

I remember you as a little boy, my nephew, with a cheeky smile and boundless energy. As a man you had a generous character and a warm heart. I will miss your enthusiasm for life. I wish that you could have stayed with us for longer and I feel proud to have been an Aunty to you. Rest in peace David X

When David found me a few years ago and reconnected with our family, I was filled with joy. I only wish that we had more time. Where-ever he is now, I hope he is at peace. Goodbye David, you are loved and will always be in our hearts.
