HODGKINSON, Glenys. Passed away peacefully after a short illness 5th July 2017. Dearly loved and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Tracey and Michael, Dean and Tracey. Adored Nana of Mikayla, Caleb, Kasha and Kyle. Loving daughter and carer of Gwen and the late Brian. Cherished sister of Alison and Bryce. "Rest Easy Mum." A celebration of Gleny's life will be held at Tauranga Park, 383 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga on Tuesday 11 July at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation. Our condolences to Glenys family. I met Glenys when we both worked at 'Mitre 10 in Elizabeth Street. We enjoyed many chats and laughter over the years. When Glenys left Mitre 10 we kept in touch and met up for coffee or dinner.
She always made me smile when ever we talked either in person or over the phone as she always referred to me as girl. I am only a couple of years younger than Glenys so it was funny when she said OK I'll catch you later girl. I can still hear her saying it.
Our thoughts are with you all.
