John JONES Obituary

JONES, John Anthony (Tony). On 29 September 2025, peacefully at Auckland Hospital, aged 79 years. Dearly loved husband of Anne. Loved father and father-in-law of Paul and Hiedi, Jeremy & Rachel, and Lindis and Jane. Much-loved grand father of Eva, Emma, Maia, Ella, Caroline, and Henry. Loved brother and brother- in-law of Beverley, Michael, Gordon, Vivienne, and Peter. Heartfelt thank you to the team at Auckland Hospital for the skillful and compassionate care provided. The family will be holding a private cremation service and hosting a Memorial Service in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, any donations in Tony's name to Hato Hone St John (stjohn.org.nz) would be greatly appreciated.
