ONZM At Wellington on 13th November 2023, aged 91. Dearly loved husband of Julia. Loved brother of June McMullan and brother-in-law of Shane. Uncle of Paul and Jonathan McMullan. A service to commemorate his life will be held in Old St Paul's on Wednesday 22nd November at midday, followed by a private cremation. Livestream is available via the Lychgate website. Dear Julia,

As our 'Post' newspaper was not delivered for several days last week, Diane and I were not aware of Jim's death until alerted to it by Chris Szekely after the funeral. We are very sorry we were unable to attend Jim's funeral but we were able to watch the very impressive service subsequently. Jim was a remarkable man and Ian has always been particularly grateful for his support in bringing the NZ Cartoon Archive to fruition at the ATL. Both of us send our condolences and warm regards, Ian and Diane Grant
