Alison EDGE Obituary

EDGE, Alison Rosa. (nee Pockett) Died peacefully on 7th December 2025. Loved wife of the late Tom. Much loved mother and mother in law of Sandra and Rodger Gray, Margaret, Carolyn and Greg Smale, and Thomas and Rebecca. Loved Nana of Christian and Jeremy, Alexander and Jonny, Holly, Enzo and Isabella and great nana of Jude. Our special thanks to the wonderful support from Healthcare NZ, Gisborne Cancer, Hospice Tairawhiti and Gisborne Hospital. A memorial service will be held at Evans Chapel, Ormond Road at 1pm on Tuesday 16th December. In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society via www.inmemory.org. nz or Hospice Tairawhiti via www. hospicetairawhiti.co. nz Evans Funeral Service Ltd FDANZ www.evansfuneral.co.nz

To the family, I was saddened to see where Ali has passed away. I spent 8 years working with her at Ideal Dairy. Everyday she was the same, hard working and full of laughter. She introduced me to Tom, by telling me he was her very best friend. I thought that was a lovely .
