Hikihiki POHATU

POHATU, Hikihiki (Siggy). It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mum who died peacefully at home in Muriwai at the age of 93 years. Mum is the wife of the late Noel Tawaputa Pohatu and loving mother and mother in law of Noel and Maryanne, Paihau and Chris, David and Liz, Maisie and Edmond, William and Avey, and the many cousins she looked after. She was also a cherished grandmother of Jhade, Hemi, Israel, Tia, Nelson, Jason, Casey, and Koanga, and great grandmother to Zia, Freya, Salem, Kiana, Madison, Boston, Kobi, Malakai, Elijha, and Olivia. Mum will be remembered for her kind heart and love. She will be taken to Muriwai Marae on Wednesday 20 August.
