Matuakore PARDOE Obituary

PARDOE, Matuakore Te Muringa. Surrounded by her loving whānau, Matuakore Te Muringa Pardoe passed away peacefully at Gisborne Hospital on 14 May, aged 78. She devoted 54 years of her life to the education sector, mainly with the Gisborne Education Board and Manutuke School. Beloved wife of Butch, cherished daughter of Elmo and Te Manakura, a treasured sister to Rangi (deceased), Moana, Betty, Mere, Gloria (deceased) Molly and Joyce, aunty, and nanny to many. Matu's legacy of aroha and commitment will live on in all who knew her. Matu will be at Manutuke Marae on Thursday and Friday - burial date and time will be released shortly.
