MOHLMANN, Sijtze. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 4th February 2025 surrounded by his family. Much loved husband of Ineke (Elizabeth). Cherished father and father in law of Suzanne and Andy Hayward (Gisborne) and Kristina and Matt Mansfield (London). Very proud Opa of Jessica and Tegan Hayward and Sophie and Isobel Mansfield. He will be greatly missed. The funeral service will be held at Evans Chapel, Ormond Rd on Saturday 8th February at 1.30pm followed by a private cremation. Dearest Ineke and family, I have just seen that your dear husband, Sijtze , passed away. My husband , Andrew, passed away on January 30. They shared time together in Gisborne hospital recently and I know much chatter as well! My heartfelt condolences at this sad time. With love , Dianna Warren

I remember Sijtze as uncle of my best friend Lyn Nyenhuis. We used to call in to the bakery on Ormond Road and I was always so in awe of the lovely cakes and pastries they produced. He was a quiet gentle person, I liked him very much. RIP
