Anthony CONNOR Obituary

CONNOR, Anthony (Tony) Michael. On Tuesday 7 May 2024, Tony suddenly passed away, on an adventure up the Ngaruroro River, aged 84 years. Loved husband of Jenny, deeply loved father and father-in-law of Claire, Pete & Robyn, Sarah and Sam, Mike and Trudi. Adored Papa of 10 grandchildren. Treasured brother of Christine Tucker, the late Desmond and Patricia, sister in law to Etta and loved uncle to many nieces and nephews. There will be a private funeral for family followed by a Memorial Service to celebrate Tony's life on Tuesday 14th May, at 2.00pm at Toitoi Event Centre, 101 Hastings St South, Hastings. Tony you have been a great friend, turning up at our farm in Weber about a piece of wood to make spinning tops. Then has followed a friendship of several years, fruitcake and chats, laughter and stories, always great company and a delight to welcome into our lives. A true gentleman who we have always looked forward to our next catch up and with his friends accompanying him. We will miss you, your smiles and laughter, God bless until we meet again.
