HERBERT, Beverley. Our adored Mama Bear, Grandma, Aunty and friend would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call, an offer you can't refuse, an appointment from which she will not be returning. The assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with her beloved Herbie, family and friends. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be partying, dancing, gardening and crafting to her heart's content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. She left detailed instructions for her children, family and friends to celebrate her mission here, which has now been completed. Bev's life will be celebrated at the Napier Sailing Club, 63 West Quay, Ahuriri, Napier on Thursday, January 28 at 1.00pm. Messages to the Herbert Family, C/o PO Box 439, Napier 4140.

Deepest Sympathy and condolences to the Herbert Family. I wish you comfort as you all deal with Bev's departure. My memories are of a dear loyal friend with a beautiful heart. She brought comfort to many in her many roles - I knew her as an essential and competent VSG Crisis Worker. She was loved and admired by all who worked with her. Her humour, strength, generosity, energy and deep genuine compassion will stay with us all. Her positivity, inspiration and encouragement to trainees established a bench-mark here. On sunny days I will remember her laughter. Rest up now dear Bev, this world is a better place for having you in it. Until we meet again over the rainbow bridge our memories will sustain us, beautiful treasured lady. Love and gratitude to family for sharing her with us.
