YULE, Brian Phillip. Brian passed away peacefully on 2nd January 2026. Loved husband of the late Suzanne, father and father-in-law of Hamish and Andrea Yule and Rosemary and Doug Brodie. Grandfather to his much-loved Grandchildren - Callum, Elise and Will, Marcus and Rosie, and Monique Yule and Courtney, Angus and Sam Brodie. Adored great grandfather to Philippa (Pippa). A life well lived. A memorial service to celebrate Brian's life will be held at the Eskdale War Memorial Church at 1pm, Monday 12th January 2026. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Eskdale War Memorial Church. So sorry to hear about the passing of our dear neighbour Bryan. Such a lovely, friendly man who would give you the shirt off his back in kindness attitude. He always had a good story with a sense of humour and a glass of red wine at the ready! We can only imagine how you are all feeling without him. However, it must be comforting to know that he is now with his lovely Suzanne. Thinking of you all. Brent, Jo & family xxx

Condolences to the Yule family, Mr Yule gave me a great job on his farm when I was a young man. He taught me a lot about farming that I enjoyed and will never forget,he was a kind man and I respected him so sad to hear of his passing he will be greatly missed RIP from Peter Bryant.
