When I showed up in new Zealand I was so lost and didn't know what to do with myself Colin and rosemary took me in and helped me on my way. I will never forget the kindness that was shown to me to make me feel like part of the family and give me the confidence to tackle the rest of new Zealand, I regret that I will never get the chance to reciprocate the kindest shown by Colin when I came to stay we will be sadly missed

Lots of love Reuben

My sincere condolences to Rosemary and family, I want to share my memories of Colin, well what can I say!! Colin is my mums cousin and when I travelled to NZ in the 90's I ran him up, he came and got me, I opened the door and there was Colin and Rosemary - Family, he looked like my gramp, familiar, they welcomed me into their home, it felt like I had always been there, their home was my home, they made me feel so comfortable being so far from home, I will treasure those memories forever, when they came to the UK we saw them a fair bit, and my dad and Colin were terribly bad for each other!!!! I'm not sure who led who astray!!!! Their friendship was special and Colin's passing has truly left a hole on the other side of the world! Fun, funny, cheeky, kind, Just a few words to sum up Colin! I send thoughts and hugs to Rosemary & Family all my love Amelia xxx

Very sad to hear of the departure of the "FONZ" We still share the many happy memories from the OLDIES HN Soccer club. Colin's name comes up regularly when I am playing soccer with my grand children. If someone puts the ball over the bar it is and will always be called a "Colin Prince". You will live on. Will always remember you.
