Just caught up with the sad news. Deirdre trained with me as a Seasons Gruef and Loss facilitator in Auckland. We worked together with so many children who benefitted from her knowledge and care. She had personality plus, lit up a room, a wonderful teacher and friend.
At peace with Keith, far too early.

So very sad to hear of Deirdre's passing such a vibrant vivacious person with so much to offer.
One never prepares us for these sudden passings but knowing she didn't suffer was a blessing.
At peace with your confidante, the love of your Life and your best friend Keith.

My thoughts and sympathy are with you all at this sad time. I first met Deirdre while teaching at Te Kopuru School in 1973. I remember her vibrant, positive personality. On her return to Dargaville it was lovely to meet again and enjoy her company, especially her sense of humour, at Clubs we were involved in.
Deidre will always be remembered with fondness.

It was a great shock to hear of Deirdre's passing. We had no idea that she was ill.
My memories go back to 1959 at Central Hawkes Bay College when we both commenced Secondary School in Form 3P1. She was always vivacious and pretty and loved to have fun. She was my first girlfriend! We were friends for life.
Rest in peace Deirdre. You will be missed by many. Our condolences to the family.

Very saddend at our loss- Deirdre was vibrant, supporting and a breath of fresh air to me and my Family. I was very lucky and priviledged to have been able to share happy times with her and her family.
