Sorry to hear of Doug´s death. I remember him as a strong swimmer and lifesaver at Waimarama and will miss him ant the beach. Our competitilns for the Maths prize at school were good fun . Despite his health he had a very active mind to the end.

Our sincere sympathy to you and your family Geraldine. We regret we will be unable to attend Doug´s service as we will be out of the area. To Geraldine and Family, Very sad at Doug's passing and so pleased we visited recently. Our careers were very similar and it has been great that we kept in touch over many years. The Rotoiti venture was a great success and produced some happy times for ourselves and our families. Will be thinking of you all at this difficult time. Very best wishes for the future.
