Erena HARDAKER Obituary

HARDAKER, Erena Marie. Passed away peacefully at Hawkes Bay Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 17 2023, in her 90th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Ron. Treasured Mum of Leeanne and Kerryn. Loved Nan of Jade and Lidya, and Liam, and Great- Nan of Theodore. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Cranford Hospice would be appreciated. A service to celebrate Erena's life will be held in the Beth Shan Chapel, 371 Gloucester Street, Taradale on Tuesday, January 23 at 1.30pm. Messages to the Hardaker Family, C/- PO Box 439, Napier 4140.

I remember Erena as the most lovely secretary at Waipukurau Primary School many years ago, she was the most beautiful ,kind ,gentle person a life well lived.

I am sorry for your loss Leeanne and Kerryn and family but will keep the happy memories alive of our time as neighbours on McLean Tce, hanging out after school and on holidays.
Your mum was truly the consummate house cleaner and loved you both very much.(Even though Kerryn could be a bit naughty at times)

So very sorry for your loss Leeanne, Kerryn and families. I used to love coming to your house on McLean Terrace and skating up and down your driveway. I remember your mum used to iron EVERYTHING!!! And had so much fun staying out at Ocean Beach at your grandparent's place. Fond memories xxx
