PARKES, Frederick Leslie (Fred). NZ Sqn 22 SAS Regt, 578977 Peacefully at Colwyn House on 17 October 2025, with his daughter and grandaughter by his side. Cherished and loved father of Sharon, Raymond, and Steve. Loved Pop of Lisa, Bonnie, Jessica, Elisabeth and great grandchildren, Tyson, Jaada, and Jonathan. A special thanks to the staff at Colwyn House and Waiapu Resthome. Service to be held at Crestwood Chapel, 615 Heretaunga Street East, Hastings on Thursday 23 October at 11am. Messages to the Parkes family can be sent to PO Box 967 Hastings.

Sincere condolences on the death of Fred. We only ever met him once but he left an impression on us that we will always remember. Family meant everything to him. We were so thankful that we took the time to visit.
