Thinking of you at this difficult time. Gary was always up for a chat and some banter. May he rest in peace. Grief hurts, because we loved.

Dear Jane and Family.
Its with deep sadness I read of Garrick's death. I have fond memories of a sociable and congenial host, with his great sense of humour and wit. His sense of occasion and duty and his service to the community were characteristics that set him apart.
My abiding memory is of Garrick reading aloud a story of his choice to a group of youngsters in my class. His rich and compelling voice gained instant attention and in my minds eye I see and hear him as he was on that day, sharing with children, a tale of courage and resilience.
My deepest sympathy to you all in the passing of a loved and respected man. Judy Gleeson.
