D'ESPOSITO, Giancarlo "Joe". Peacefully on the 27th October 2025 at the HB Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, aged 62 years. Deeply loved husband of Karin. Loved father and father-in-law of Nicholas, Antony and Polly, Michael and Claire. Cherished brother of Gianna, Aida, Nino and Diana, brother-in-law of Graham and Luke. Dearly loved nonno of Louis. A special thanks to the staff of ward A4 at Hawkes Bay Hospital. A service for Joe will be held at Bostock Winery, 305 Ngatarawa Road, Bridge Pa on Monday 3rd November at 2pm. I was so saddened to hear of his recent passing. Joe was a kind and caring man who believed in people and looked after our family always. I remember working in Petone with Joe when I was very young 21 I think and he always looked out for me and made sure I was ok. I babysat his 3 young boys at the time and it was the easiest way to earn $100 and get free pizza Joe had a charm and his wit captivated an audience, he will be sadly missed by all.
