Howard SHIELDS Obituary

SHIELDS, Howard James (Howie). Aged 68 years. Unexpectedly taken on June 25, 2023 surrounded by his ocean views. Adored and much loved Dad of James and Emma. Fun loving Grandad to Mitchell, Luke, Jack and Sienna. Loved son of Hugh and Jean (both deceased). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated and can be left at the service. A celebration of Howie's life will be held in the Beth Shan Chapel, 371 Gloucester Street, Taradale on Friday, June 30 at 11.00am. Messages to the Shields Family, C/o PO Box 439, Napier 4140.

To the Sheilds family my condolences on the loss of such a wonderful man. Howard was such an awesome role model when I was growing up and I cherish the time he spent teaching us archery in the back yard. Rest in peace Howard
