Janet FAWCETT Obituary

FAWCETT, Janet Ellenore (nee Patrick). Peacefully at Kowhainui Rest Home, Whanganui on Wednesday 5 November 2025. Dearly loved Wife of Bryon for 57 years, and much loved Mum to Andrew (dec), Julia, Adele, and Michael. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Maurice and Karen, Madeleine, Bernard and Phyllis, Peter (dec), Philip and Averyll, and Celia. The family extend their heartfelt thanks to Kowhainui for all their love and care of Janet. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, Tawhero Street, Whanganui on Saturday 8 November 2025 at 10.30am to be followed by private cremation. The family extend an invitation to join them for Rosary for Janet in the Church on Friday evening at 5.30pm.

Dear Bryon , Julia, Adele, Mike , Celia & the rest of Janet´s family.
Having first met Janet ( & Bryon ) in tragic circumstances in 1997 we established a lovely friendship .
Janet & I shared many enjoyable lunches together & had many interesting talks . Latterly , Bryon & Parry joined us .
I so enjoyed her company & will miss our get togethers.
A lovely generous ,intelligent , kind & fun lady who put her family above all else . Together now Janet with Andrew .
We are so sorry that we are away at present so will miss the service but will be thinking of you all .
