CHRYSTAL, John Livingstone. Passed away peacefully on February 17, 2024 surrounded by his family. Aged 87 years. Loving husband of Jocelyn for 60 years. An awesome dad and mate of Dean and Jackie; Ronda; and Kathryn and Maurice. Special grandad of Rebecca, and Aidan; John, Tom, and Ben; Sofia, Katelin, and Zara. A special thank you to the staff of Bryant House for your care of John. Kickoff will be at the Graham Lowe Pavilion, McLean Park, Latham Street, Napier today Wednesday, 21 February at 2pm. Followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers a donation to dementia.nz/hawkes- bay/get-involved- hawkes-bay/ would be appreciated. For him a happy release but for you the Family a very sad time but you all will have many memories of life with John memories which you will treasure in the times ahead. Bryan's association with John was as members of the Napier Men's Probus then latterly of the Taradale Friendship Club. May the Good Lord Bless you & Comfort you in the times ahead.

To the Chrystal family I send my sincere condolences at the passing of John.
I worked with John for many years at Eastbridge. I enjoyed the times we spent on site together putting up cell phone towers and buildings throughout NZ. I remember his children when we were in Auckland working came to site to visit there dad n were concerned about the height he had to work at erecting cell phone tower. I remember his daughter coming up to me n saying "you look after our dad"
John is a great workmate n true friend....
