HORTON, John Hicks. Reg No.623330, 2 NZEF T/CPL. Peacefully on Thursday August 4, 2016. Loved husband of the late Peg. Loved father and father-in- law of the late Colleen and Doug, Brian and Wendy, Kay and Ken Foy. A much loved Grandad, Great Grandad and Uncle. Loved brother of Margaret, Howard, Dorothy and William (all deceased). A service to celebrate John's life will be held at St Columba's Presbyterian Church, Columba Way, Havelock North on Wednesday August 10 at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation. Thank you to the wonderful staff and residents at Mary Doyle, and Hastings Memorial Hospital for their care of John. In lieu of flowers donations to the Blind Foundation can be made at the service.
