Louise WATTS Obituary

WATTS, Louise Jayne. Adored wife of Stephen Watts. Loved daughter of Grace Bower and loved twin sister of Bronwyn. Loved and cherished by all her family, friends and work colleagues. My wonderful wife is cherished, loved, and is still my strong, inspirational mentor in many ways from our life's journey together. For everyone these will also be fond memories from her outrageous and outspoken times in some situations, but that was Louise as we all know, no changes were needed as these times became joyous moments to be shared about in love. Louise's relentless love towards others will be her remembered legacy in hearts she inspired. A celebration of Louise's life will be held in the Beth Shan Chapel, 157 Georges Drive, Napier on Thursday, July 25 at 2.00pm. To request the livestream link for Louise's service, please contact Beth Shan Funerals on 06 835 9925. Messages to the Watts Family, C/o PO Box 439, Napier 4140.

Steve , dear Grace, and Bronwyn , I’ve just heard the news . My heart goes out to you all Louise had great wisdom and truly remarkable kindness .She noticed and she cared. She was a fearless champion of the underdog , and she noticed and spoke out against injustice for people who couldn’t speak out for themselves . Louise had a strong faith and shared it with joy and passion . I remember her love of flowers too and the photos she took of them . I’m sorry not to have been able to be there in person to stand alongside you . She will be so sorely missed . God comfort and hold you all as you navigate this next season . Love to you all.

I am sorry to hear the devastating news of Louise´s passing. My sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Stephen, her mum and her twin sister.
I worked with Louise at the mental health unit in Hastings and with the Napier Community team. She was a real " breath of fresh air" with her habit of saying exactly what she thought and her lovely laugh. She smiled her way through every day and those of us who were her colleagues will miss her terribly. Arohanui Louise. Rest In Peace

Dear Steve, Louise´s cat, her mum and her twin sister
Sending you my absolute sincere condolences at this very difficult time.
I am in utter disbelief that Louise is no longer with us earth side.
I spent alot of time working with Louise in the inpatient unit and at Napier community mental health, and I absolutely adored her.
She was always so full of life, she befriended everyone, was loud, proud and unapologetically herself.
She didn´t worry what others thought of her, and that was something I truly admired.
The last messages she sent to me were pictures of some beautiful roses.
I know she loved flowers, and enjoyed spreading their beauty with her work colleagues.
She dedicated many years of her life to mental health services in Hawkes Bay, and how lucky the service was to have her.
An absolute pleasure knowing Louise, she will forever be in my memories.
Sending her family all of my love.

I am so sad to hear of Louise´s passing. I knew her in her younger years at Te Atatu Bible Chapel, and she babysat my two boys when they were little. She was always such a fun, positive person who had a quirky sense of humour that I loved. I bet she got a big hug from my Lyndsay when she skipped through the pearly gates!! Sending my love and hugs to Grace, Bronwyn and Stephen in this huge loss.

Firstly my Condolences and love to Louise's lovely family. I have many fond memories of Louise when working at Karkariki and this very vivacious young lady arrived. So much fun and to many to put down. I remember going to see the first Rod Stewart concert at the mission with Louise and how we enjoyed and laughed so much as we had found a gap in the fence so off we went. No ticket did either of us have.We only went down to listen from the car.
Such a loss and she will be sadly missed. Stephen you were so loved by Louise and her life became complete when she met you. To her mum and sister please accept my heartfelt Sympathy. XX
