I would like to send my condolences to Jo and Collin and family. My name is Rose Whiting. Up until this year I have been singing at Atawhai firstly in the dining room but latter I had a Choir running every second Saturday morning in the Chester Hope Lounge. Your lovely Merrie was a regular 'Choir/Singing a long' member of the group. She was so proud of her knitting and her age always saying I am 95 you know, bless her. I was at Atawhai on her 95 birthday and notice her sitting in the Dining room for lunch so I gave her a big hug and sang her a Happy Birthday. Merrie was a dear sole and the memory of her will be in my heart forever.

Kind Regards,
Rose Whiting
