SCOTT, Michael Douglas. 17 September 1973 - 14 December 2025 Michael Douglas Scott passed away peacefully on 14 December 2025, aged 52. Beloved husband to Nancy, stepfather to Jay, and devoted companion to his much-loved dog, Ruby. Michael was a dearly loved son to Liz (Leslie) and Ken, a treasured brother to Anna and Matt, and a proud uncle to his nieces, Sammie and Georgia. Michael will be remembered for his love of surfing and the ocean, always up for a laugh, and loved by many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A private service will be held on 19 December 2025. A memorial gathering to celebrate the life of Michael Douglas Scott will take place at East Pier Hotel - Napier on 24 January 2026 at 1:00 pm. All who knew and loved Michael are welcome to attend and honour his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cranford Hospice.
