A dear friend I played rugby with at school and wrestled too, Nicholas was too good at it and flattened me on numerous occasions. A truly lovely man, kind, warm heated a gentle giant until he held a rugby ball. God bless you Max, will miss you.

Sending my condolences to Jean and family on the passing of our dear friend Max. Maxi the Taxi as i sometimes called him was a happy go lucky and kind fella. I have many happy memories of Max, some of them are of seeing Max in his mustard coloured MG sports car that he had done up. He was so proud of that car, more so than his Valiant, working on shift and on shutdowns wth Max in the late 80s early 90s at Petrochem Kapuni and riding home from work on Rays mean and powerful motorbikes with Max. Hondas of course haha. RIP Max. Ka kite, Smack
