Hello Faye, So sad to hear about Noel. So sad also that we lost touch for so many years. You and Noel have always had a spot in my heart that I have cherished. That spot will always be there for you both. When I heard of Noel's passing all those faces flooded into my mind. I miss you all so much. My love to you and all your family. Bruce.

We are sorry we cannot be with you at this sad time, but please be assured Faye, Linda, Gavin and family you are in our thoughts and prayers! Noel was very kind to us, helping extend our Laws Place home as our family grew, and building our Guppy Road home which we loved! He was a perfectionist at his chosen profession!
I remember earning 2 shillings from my brothers every Saturday during the rugby season, cleaning the mud off their boots, ready for the next game! A veritable fortune to a 9 year old back then!
From the day he met Brian Noel was very supportive of our courtship. Brian was a smoker then, like many in those days. We look back with a mixture of amusement and embarrassment remembering Noel patiently emptying the ashtray the second Brian finished each cigarette. Smoking in someone´s house , how times have changed
In 1966 we experienced a very speedy trip to Hamilton in Noel´s latest fast car to watch Hawkes Bay win the Ranfurly Shield. Faye, we are sure would remember that day too.
It was a thrill to leave from Noel´s and Faye´s lovely Oldham Avenue home for our wedding service on 7th October 1967.
We look back and remember my brother as a kind, generous, compassionate, spiritually minded man who always seemed to have a smile on his face. It´s comforting to know he´s in the safest place possible, Gods memory.
