So saddened to hear of Peter´s untimely passing. Peter was so generous and sharing with his time and knowledge. He had been very helpful in our association with Maori land blocks which our whanau are involved in. We had some excellent fishing journeys and these times were made richer for his sharing of his experiences growing up working and living in Hawkes Bay. Peter introduced me to the Cape Sanctuary where we spent many Mondays working together in a positive tree growing environment made more enjoyable by the camaraderie of the Dads Army volunteers group.
Myself and many others will miss his contribution, his commitment and his dedication but mostly I will miss his cheeky smile, his witty remarks and his sense of humour
Travel well to the other side Peter and rest in peace
Regards

So very sad to read of Peter's untimely passing. I have spent many hours working alongside Peter at Cape Sanctuary on whatever projects we have been assigned. I will miss his company greatly. Thinking of his family at this time. RIP Peter. Colin Young

Dear Karen and family.. aroha nui to you all for your sad loss. Our whanau had a very deep respect and love for Peter which goes vack over 40 or so years. His contribution, matauranga, expertise and skills for the greater good of whanau hapu, marae and iwi on many levels has not gone unnoticed. He leaves behind a legacy which so many can be grateful for. We thank you and your family for allowing him to be the person he was to so many people and the community.

Peter Bloor was a well known supporter for Maori land rights. Peter was instrumental in supporting our whanau trust to navigate the Maori land court. Thankyou Peter. A true gentleman.
