COMPTON, Raewyn Kaye. Passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends on 6 August 2025, after a long illness. Loved wife of John. Cherished mother and mother-in-law to Harrison and Rose. Proud grandmother of Baby Compton, due on Christmas Day. Beloved sister to all of her siblings. A service to celebrate Raewyn's life will be held on Tuesday 12 August 2025, at 2:00PM, at Crestwood Chapel. 615 Heretaunga St East, Hastings. Messages to Raewyn's family can be sent care of PO Box 8424, Havelock North.

I will always remember you with love and happiness, Aunty. I am sorry I didn't get to visit you before you passed, and I pray that we will meet in the life after this one. You were always so much fun and encouraged me to be myself; for that, I am grateful. My heart goes out to you, John, and Harrison. Aunty Rae spoke of you both with love and pride, especially you, Harrison. You both brought her so much joy. I hope you are being supported and loved during this tough time. Aunty Rae is irreplaceable, and the world is definitely missing out now that she is no longer here. I love you, Aunty Rae.

I am very saddened to read of Raewyn´s passing. Raewyn and her family used to live across the road from us in Lumsden Place and her oldest sister used to babysit me and my siblings when we were little kids in the early 60´s. Raewyn had a lovely smile and always happy to have a chat. My condolences to Raewyn´s sisters and brothers and their families. RIP Raewyn.

I was very saddened to hear of Raewyn´s passing, Raewyn & I were friends while growing up in the late sixties in our neighbourhood (Lumsden Place) I have many fun filled memories of our time together and wonderful sleepovers with Raewyn´s family I send my deepest condolences to all of her nearest & dearest Raewyn Aldridge (Invercargill)
