HUNTER, Roger. Passed away suddenly at home on October 22, 2023. Adored son of Walt (Ian) Hunter, and Susan Cheira. Much loved husband of Bec. Dearly Loved father of Oscar, Paige, and Phoebe. Cherished brother of Trudi, Tessa, and Quentin. Loving Uncle to all his nephews and nieces. Great mate to many, and will be sorely missed. A service to celebrate the life of Roger, will be held at The Cheval Room, Hawke's Bay Racing Centre, 300 Prospect Road, Hastings on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 2:00pm. To Ian and Family especially Rogers wife and children. It was a terrible shock when we recieved a call on Friday from a friend in Hastings with the news. We both shed tears on the weekend when his mates were picking up his boat. Looking over the fence i could always tell it was his pride and joy. We will be thinking of you all tomorrow and in the coming weeks.
