SCHOFIELD, Soe. Passed away peacefully on July 6, 2024 at Mary Doyle Resthome, Havelock North. Loved wife of the late Robin. Loved and adored mum of Myn and the late Pete. Incredibly proud Grandma Scho of PD and Jess, Sara, and Kayla and Oliver and her great grandchildren Isla, Awhi, and Rowan. "We miss you and love you heaps" Special thanks to the amazing staff at Mary Doyle Resthome for the wonderful care and support of Mum and our family. A Service to celebrate Soe's life will be held at the Dunstall Memorial Chapel, Edwardes Street, Napier on Tuesday 13 August at 12 noon, followed by interment at Wharerangi Cemetery. Sorry for your loss. I knew Soe from Napier intermediate, she was my cooking teacher and in later years a neighbour and friend. Someone I looked up to and respected.

Soe was my Home Science teacher at Napier Intermediate School 65years ago . We knew her as Soe O´Connell . I often think of her as I still use her Napier Intermediate School cook book she compiled . She was a lovely lady who inspired a lot of us to really enjoy cooking.
